The film follows a group of train passengers who are trapped in a subway in an unspecified city. A doomsday cult begins massacring all non-members in the area with swords, daggers, and other bladed weapons. The cultists believe it is their mission to "save" the souls of humanity, which can only be accomplished by ending their lives. At the end of the movie it is revealed that the "cleansing" ends after 24 hours, which is signaled by a pager that each member carries. After receiving the message, each member ingests a pill and dies shortly afterward.
The soundtrack composed by Martin Gauthier has been released on July 20, 2010, by 2m1 Records.
